Party Weekend Event 3: Evan and Paiten's Wedding

When my dad got remarried on May, I suddenly inherited three step-brothers and a stepsister. Ironically enough, out of the now 11 children between Judy and my dad, two of them chose the same weekend to get married-- thus, event #3!

Evan and Paiten got married in Paiten's backyard in a simple early evening ceremony. We left the birthday party about 4:45pm, and headed for the Sugarhouse area, expecting to arrive too late to see the couple get married (since it was scheduled for 5pm), but instead, we arrived in plenty of time before it actually started around 5:40.

After the ceremony, everyone there pretty much just hung out until the food was ready for the dinner part of the evening. We ate and then my siblings and I left pretty early (around 7:30-ish) because all the kids were done with weddings at this point.

We had a rookie parenting moment: we left the diaper bag at Alan's house and didn't have our spare diapers when Paige needed one! Agh!! Thankfully, Dessire had her diaper bag for Alisa, so we got to change our dirty baby and wrapped her up to her waist with a 1 year old's diaper! I was really grateful, the pacifier was in the carseat when we left the birthday party!
