I know a girl named Tara

waiting to be opened

My youngest sister got her mission call last Thursday- heavens! It's already been a week!

getting people set up
to watch
She was so funny that day. She said that when she went to the mailbox, she peered through the stack of paper in there and when she saw the white envelope with Sister on it, she pretty much slammed the door shut and jumped back. Then, composing herself, she pulled out everything but the white envelope, went into the house and called Dad. He laughed at her and told her to just go pull it out!   Which she did.

She was soooooo excited to open her letter. By the time Dad was home from work and we had everyone gathered (we had three siblings on three different phones, one sibling on Google+ and an aunt on Skype on two different laptops-- all lined up on the dining room table plus all of us that were actually in the house), she was nearly jumping out of her skin with anxiousness.

She opened the envelope, pulled out the letter and read it silently to herself, and before she could even look up to read it to us, she was crying. The Spirit was so strong as she started, that even before she read where she was going, I knew that wherever it was, was the right place for her.

Turns out the right place for her is Alabama! The Birmingham Mission to be exact.  She reports to the Provo MTC on May 29th.

I'm really excited for her! Being a missionary is such an amazing experience and being a sister missionary is just awesome (in the truest sense of the word).

feeling overwhelmed by relief
